What Prime Journal is

Prime Journal is a magazine for readers over 50. Our articles are general information written to be useful and readable. They are not professional advice of any kind, and reading them does not create a client, patient, or advisory relationship with us or with anyone who writes for us.

Not financial, legal, tax, or medical advice

Articles about money, benefits, insurance, taxes, housing, health, medicines, or care describe how things generally work and what questions to ask. Rules change, vary by state and by program, and depend on your own circumstances. Before acting on anything you read here, check the current rule with the agency or company involved, and speak to a qualified professional who knows your situation. Never delay seeking medical care because of something you read on this site.

Accuracy and sources

We work hard to be accurate and we link to the sources we cite so you can read them yourself. We cannot promise that every article is complete, current, or free of error, and we don't accept liability for decisions made on the strength of an article. Your use of the site

You may read, print, and share links to our articles for personal, non-commercial use. Things you send us
