About Prime Journal
A magazine for people who think their best decades are still ahead of them.
Prime Journal is written for one reader: a capable adult over 50 who has run a household and probably a career, who is tired of being talked down to, and who wants the plain truth about the decisions in front of her. Money, travel, home, garden, health, family, and style, in that order of how often they keep readers awake.
What you'll find here
Long, specific articles, each built around a feeling you will recognise and ending with something you can do. We name the form, the deadline, the question to ask, and the words to say out loud. Where an article rests on a rule or a figure, it links to the source, and the full list of sources sits at the foot of the page.
What you won't
The word “seniors.” Advice that treats you as a problem for your children to manage. Numbers stated more precisely than anyone can know them. Promises about discounts or benefits that may not exist. A hard sell.
How it's made
Our articles are produced with the help of writing and image tools under a detailed editorial brief, then checked against a fixed editorial checklist before publication. We describe the process openly on our editorial standards page, including what we will not do and how we correct mistakes.
How it's paid for
By advertising on the page and, in some articles, by commissions on links. Neither changes what we write. Our advertising and affiliate disclosure explains the rules.
Who publishes it
Prime Journal is published by Third Eye Digital, LLC.
