Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze job satisfaction levels of physical education teachers who work in different cities in terms of demographic features. The research is in descriptive study. The sample of the research consists of 304 physical education teachers. Research data was gathered by using Minessota Job Satisfaction Scale. In measuring, One Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test and Kruskal-Wallis Test, (p<0,05) were used and Mann-Whitney U Test was used with the aim of determining the groups which create difference at a meaningful level. According to research results, it is confirmed that intrinsic satisfaction, external satisfaction and job satisfaction in general total sub dimensions of physical education teachers are high. When demographic features of physical education teachers are tested, the difference was found statistically as meaningful in worked cities and professional seniority, external and general satisfaction sub dimensions, age, marital status and working institution variables.
